For some reason, everyone leaves Angkor Wat through the West gate, on the same side as the sunset. But, if you go on the opposite side, you can avoid the crowds and get some great photos. When you’re done, you’re only a few kilometers from Siem Reap, so you can easily call a taxi through PassApp.
